How To Make An English Breakfast
Tuesday, 08 December 2009 09:12

Probably of very little interest to my UK readers but probably of interest to US readers. This is a similar to a traditional English Breakfast, just modified a little for bodybuilders consumption...

So OK, it isn't a traditional English breakfast

Ingredients:

6 Eggs (or 1-2 Eggs and Egg White Powder)
Ham. a few slices (or bacon if not concerned over fat intake)
Baked Beans 485 gram tin (1 lb)
Tomato
Mushrooms
Dark Rye Bread, European style
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Cup Of Tea

Preparation:

Put oil into the pan, turn on heat.

Put the ham (or bacon) into the pan, add the tomatoes, put the lid on. Chop up the mushrooms.

Flip the ham/bacon in the pan

Crack eggs into bowl (as many eggs/egg whites as you need for protein) and scramble them with a fork

Take the ham out of the pan, put on the plate.  Put the mushrooms in, cook these constantly stirring, remove the mushrooms and tomatoes and put these on plate.

Add a little more olive oil and pour the eggs into the still hot pan, stir these until cooked through take the eggs out of the pan.

Open can of beans and empty approximately 1/2 the can into the pan, stir until heated, no need to cook, just heat. When heated put these onto the plate.

Serve with a cup of hot tea.
