Egg And Oats Snack

Not really a meal and not really cooking. This is a fast snack that requires no cooking and less than 1 minute to prepare and eat.

This snack is ideal for when you are just really, really hungry, then you can make this and start cooking your proper meal. Also if you are going out to dinner with friends, this will fill you up a bit and take away the hunger pains as you wait for the food, OR finally I do use this at night sometimes if I wake up due to hunger.

It is not the ideal midnight snack but it is quick, easy and the oats are a slow releasing carbohydrate.



Ingredients:

Cup of oats
1 egg
Milk or Soy Milk
Sugar, teaspoon (optional)


Preparation:

Crack one egg into a coffee cup (make sure the egg is good, eating a raw 'off' egg can make you very sick) and stir it with a fork until it is 'blended' and all the membranes have been broken up.

Add the oats to the coffee cup, a teaspoon of sugar and enough milk to cover the oats. Stir thoughly.

Eat.
