Another Australian classic nicked from the French, Ratatouille, why an Aussie classic? Well as a young kid my Dad would make this just about everytime he cooked for us, and as kids we liked it - and best yet you could just as easily cook it in the BBQ as at home, so we got to eat it everywhere... |

Fried rice with pork called Khao Pat Moo in the Thai language, or Khao Pat Gai for Chicken fried rice. In a most annoying stereotype almost every Thai restaurant will assume you, being a foreigner, will only eat Fried Rice and will tell you your order is Khao Pat xxx. Very annoying when you want to eat something a little more tasty, even more annoying when your foreign friends look about nervously and say "No, no, I'll just have the fried rice" (just to be safe).... |

Hawaiian chicken wraps - why? Well it seems every food in Australia that contains pineapple must be a Hawaiian idea. Why? Goodness knows. Australia has more pineapples than Hawaii for sure. Anyhow here's another way to choke the chicken breast down... |

Chopped liver, an old English breakfast high in various B group vitamins. As children we'd be fed this every now and then to ensure we were getting enough B vitamins. By cooking the liver in bacon and onion it helps the liver take on a better flavour.
