Fresh fruit and egg whites, you cannot get any easier to digest and still eat healthy food. This takes a little preparation but it is still simple, and an EASY way to get those egg whites down - you cannot even taste them. Sticking to a bodybuilding junk free diet is easy once you get a few tricks up your sleeve like this
Ingredients: Bananas Watermelon Pineapple Ruby Grapefruit Grapes Raisins Papaya Apples Kiwi Fruit (If available) 250 ml Natural Organic Low Fat Yoghurt (1/2 pint) 6-8 Egg Whites Instant Oats (optional)
Use whatever fruits you have available at hand or that are in season, cut up what you have into roughly similar amounts of each fruit.
Preparation: Crack the 6 eggs, separate out the yolks and scramble the whites in a bowl (or use premixed egg white powder). Cook the egg whites in the pan then once cooked put in the fridge to cool off. Do not use any yolks in this recipe, we only want the flavourless egg whites. Cut up all the fruit you have into small pieces and put into a large bowl. Put the cold egg whites into the bowl with the fruit pour the yoghurt over the top, sprinkle the oats onto the mix and stir it all through. Let sit for 15-30 minutes to let the fruit juices mix together and for the oats to absorb the flavour, then stir again and eat. A good simple carb and easy to digest protein meal perfect for just before or after a workout.
